Frankie Norris Courts, Sr.

Frankie Norris Courts, Sr., 75, of Macon, Georgia entered into the gates of Heaven on September 11, 2024. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Courts was born in Reidsville, North Carolina on July 8, 1949, to the late Mr. Fred Courts, Sr., and Mrs. Mildred Moyer Courts. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy before being honorably discharged. He went on to devote many years to Brown and Williamson as a Maintenance Mechanic before retiring.  Frankie was a pillar of strength and a beacon of support for everyone who knew him. His humor and genuine kindness made him a beloved figure in his community, where he was recognized for his unwavering dedication to helping others. His deep affection for his dogs reflected his nurturing nature, while his passion for landscaping transformed his yard into a radiant oasis. Frankie seized every chance to share the gospel, driven by his sincere faith. He was a popular presence at gatherings, known for his joyful dancing, ability to dress and infectious laughter. Cooking was another one of his gifts, as he took great pride in preparing meals and ensuring his family was always well-cared for. Above all, his family was the light of his life. Frankie's sincerity, coupled with his ability to make others feel valued and loved, left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy is his significant other, Michaal Jones; children, Frankie "Ike" Norris Courts, Jr.  (Tonya), Vanessa Tucker (Robert), India Courts, Ebony Courts, Diamond Broadnax; brothers, Ivory Courts, Gerald Courts (Louise); sister, Carol Courts; grandchildren, Jalan Bass, Justine Tucker, Nyanne Tucker, London Jackson, Tobias Courts, Justice Courts, and Jeffery Alexander, Jr.; four legged friends, King and Rocky; close friends, Sheriff David Davis, Cornell Thomas, Lietha Blackwell and a host of many other friends that he cherished dearly.
