Frances Vaughn Rowe

Frances Vaughn Rowe, a beloved resident of Macon, GA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28th, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on Saturday, October 7th, 1961, Frances was a cherished member of her community and family.

Frances is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Allen Rowe. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Alexis Rowe Simmons and her husband Jordan, and a caring stepmother to Amanda Saylor (Jeff), Laura Howard (Travis), and Jason Rowe. Frances was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her dear mother, Saundra Martin, her aunt, Donna Hall, and her dearest best friend, Shannon Coursey. Frances was preceded in death by her father, Billy Vaughn.

Throughout her life, Frances found joy in simple pleasures. She loved fishing, shopping, and most importantly, spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Frances was a dedicated member of her community and will be remembered for her kind spirit and loving nature. Although she was disabled, Frances's strength and resilience inspired those around her.

A memorial service to celebrate Frances's life will be held at New Elim Baptist Church at a later date. Friends and family are invited to honor her memory and share their stories.
