Frances Louise Stokes Ray, 92, of Macon, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 2, at 11:00 AM in New Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Ray was born on November 9, 1928, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Edgar Weldon Stokes and Frances Irene Harper Stokes.
Ms. Ray was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Weldon Ray; grandson, Jim Patterson Ray; and brothers,
Edgar Weldon Stokes and William Allen Stokes
Ms. Ray is survived by her sister, Gwendolyn Stokes Woodell (Lowery) and several nieces and nephew.
