Frances Lucille Olds

Frances Lucille Olds, a beloved resident of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on a crisp winter day, Sunday, December 12th, 1954, Frances spent her entire life in the warm embrace of her hometown, Macon, where she cultivated deep roots and cherished memories.

Frances was a dedicated and hardworking individual, retiring as a Quality Assurance Technician from Tyson Foods, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Her dedication to her work was only matched by her passion for ceramics, a craft she lovingly pursued. Many days she could be found with her brother working at the Macon Farmer's Market, a pastime she enjoyed.

Frances was a woman of warmth and kindness, whose life was a testament to the love and dedication she had for her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 17 years, Donnie Olds, and her loving son, John (Diane) Wilder of Cordele, GA. She also leaves behind her cherished daughter, Evonne Crosby, and son-in-law, Terry Sadler, as well as her dear sister, Patty Sellers.

Her legacy continues through her three grandchildren, Tommy Lee (Jessica) Crosby, Ethan (Summer) Crosby, and Chase Crosby, who were the light of her life. Frances was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Colton Lee Crosby, Jackson Crosby, Cullen Gaddy, and Lillie Crosby, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson Cameron Jr. and Ettamaude Cameron, as well as her brothers, Andrew Jack Cameron, Morris Cameron, and Billy Cameron, and her sister, Elizabeth Milburn.

She was previously married to Johnnie Wilder, with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.

Frances Lucille Olds will be remembered for her unwavering love, her artistic spirit, and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.

A Memorial service celebrating Frances life is scheduled for Friday, August 14, 2026 2:00 PM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
