Faye Cheek Evans, 82, of Jones County, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 15, at 1:00 PM in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Evans was born on September 12, 1938, in Jones County, Georgia, to the late Willis Cheek and Anne Brown Cheek. She was very proud of being a Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Evans family was her greatest joy.
Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Aubrey Evans; sons, Scott Evans and Bryan Evans; sister, Annelle Wynn; and brother, Earl Cheek.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her son, Noel Evans (Seleta), grandchildren, Kimberly Gilstrap (Michael), Ciera Evans, and Zackery Evans; great-grandchildren, Gabriella Gilstrap; and brother, Henry Cheek (Elyse).
