Eugene Thigpen

Eugene Talamadge Thigpen, 82, of Macon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Cadwell, Georgia. Reverend Gregg Lowery and Reverend Tom Vann will officiate.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road Macon from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.

Born in Cedar Grove, Georgia, he was son of the late Horace and Mary Thigpen. He was a retired backhoe operator with Chris R. Sheridan Company. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Jean Thigpen.
Mr. Thigpen was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Thigpen of Macon; Sons, Steven Gene Thigpen and Mark Paul Thigpen, both of England; Step Son; Tony Frost of McCormick, South Carolina, Twelve Grandchildren and Four great Grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews.
