Emory Moss

Emory Leon Moss, 75, of Byron, Georgia passed away August 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Dean Cowart officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Madison, Georgia has was the son of the late Cled and Ophelia Eaton Moss. He was a self-employed mechanic, and the owner of Green's Garage. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ginger Quirk, four brothers and a son-in-law Kevin Stewart.
He is survived by his wife, Sammie Ann Green Moss. Daughters, Vickie Moss O'Connor (Mike Pate), Christina Moss Stewart, Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, a sister, Geraldine Watson as well as several nieces and nephews.
