Ellie Beasley

Ellie Vee Beasley, 88, of Macon, Georgia passed away April 28, 2015. The family will receive friends at a visitation Friday, May 1, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 4989 Mt. Pleasant Church Road; Macon, GA 31216. A celebration of her life will be held, graveside, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216. The Rev. Joseph E. Williams, Jr. will be officiating.
Mrs. Beasley was born on December 30, 1926 in Soperton, GA to the late George Dewey Smith, Sr. and the late Beulah Mae Braddy Smith. Mrs. Beasley is preceded in death by her husband, John Beasley of Macon, GA. She was a member of the Warner Robins Pentecostal Holiness Church on Shy Street in Warner Robins, GA where she served as a Sunday school teacher and Sunday School Superintendent for many years.
Mrs. Beasley is survived by three daughters; Janie Poulnott (Terry), of Macon, GA ,Joan Neal(Jerry) of Macon, GA and Laura Davis (John) of Macon, GA. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Joel Neal(Annie), Kelli Guy(John), Julie McLendon(Josh), Michael Eisman(Nao), Laura Denson(Daryl), Kasey Poulnott, and six great-grandchildren: Matthew, Hunter and Ashlen Guy, Jake and Jaymi Kate McLendon, and DeMarcus Denson. She is survived by three siblings, Billy Smith(Cathy) of Byron, GA, Jackie Ballard(Larry) of Griffin, GA, and Jewel Allen of Martinez, GA, along with several nieces and nephews.
