Ellen Charrisse Cowles, 58, of Lizella, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Ellen was born on March 18, 1966, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Walter George Yarbrough, Sr and Mrs. Loella Harris Ward. She was a special woman. Ellen enjoyed her trips to Tybee Island, most. She had the ability to make friends everywhere she went. Ellen was outgoing, adventurous, and spontaneous. She loved her family and her friends dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter George Yarbrough, Sr and Mrs. Loella Harris Ward; brother, Walter George Yarbrough, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her children, Mary Lou Yarbrough and Darryl Cowles (Maura Holland); brother, Richard Yarbrough; grandchildren, Malia Maddison Heath, Leanna Elizabeth Pierce and Jason David Seals, Jr.
