Edward Renfroe

Edward "Wayne" Renfroe, 86, of Lizella passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 noon in the chapel with Reverend Chris Minton officiating. Burial will be private for family only.
Wayne was born on May 15, 1935, in Telfair County, Georgia to the late Claude Hillary Renfroe and Myrtle Walden Renfroe. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and then retired after a lengthy career with the United States Post Office. He was a faithful member of Lizella Baptist and in his free time he loved to fish, garden, and tend to the yard.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister; Dorothy Brewer and brother; Claude Renfroe, Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His wife of 64 years; Barbara Hardy Renfroe, Children; David Renfroe, Mark Renfroe (Vicki) and Teresa Rousey (Terry). Five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one brother; Luther Wesley Renfroe.
