Edith Couch

Edith "JoAnn" Avery Couch, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 22, 2018. Services to honor her life will held in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Mike Stokes officiating. A private burial will take place at Macon Memorial Park.
Before retiring JoAnn was a civil servant working several years at both Robins Air Force Base and Raytheon. Her work enabled her to travel which she greatly enjoyed. Reading and going to the beach were pastimes she enjoyed as well; however, spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents: Nathan and Annie Avery, her son: Charles "Sonny" Couch, and two sisters and two brothers and a grandson; David Field.
Left to cherish JoAnn's memory are her three daughters: Jo Johnson (Ben), Molly Kimsey (Joey), and Sharon Couch, as well as her beloved sister Eloise Smith. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Kate, Sarah, Billy, Molly and Andrew along with several great grandchildren and friends. JoAnn was a joy and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
