Edgar John Carpenter, Jr. passed away suddenly December 2, 2014. A memorial service to honor his life will be held Sunday, December 7, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Abundant Grace Church, 1861 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, Georgia with Pastor Daron Gray officiating.
Edgar was born on December 1, 1978 in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. He was a 1998 graduate of Warner Robins High School, where he was Junior Class President and listed among the Who's Who of American High School Students. He played football for Warner Robins High School and received the Sportsmanship Trophy and the Mr. Hustler Trophy. Edgar was also an avid fisherman and loved to fish bass tournaments and was a member of local dart leagues.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving parents, Lanita J. Carpenter of Bonaire, and Ed Carpenter of Roberta. His daughter, Lillian Carpenter, Lillians sister Rhylan Kerr, and their mother, Amber Stephens. One sister, Lanita Davis and her husband Chris of Minot, North Dakota. Grandfather and step grandmother, John and Jackie Carpenter of Warner Robins and grandmother, Johanna Morrison of Bonaire. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Edgar will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Abundant Grace Church in Edgars honor.
