Eddie Mcgreggor

Eddie Prinz McGreggor, 57, joined his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mt. Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, Georgia, 31216. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Evangelistic House of Prayer, 40 Huckleberry Lane, Ft. Valley, Georgia, 31030 with Pastor Ronnie Hollis, Jr. and Pastor Micah Carr officiating.
Eddie was born on January 24, 1965, in Macon, Georgia to the late Eddie Ray and Margarita Prinz McGreggor. At the age of 17, Eddie married the love of his life Tracie and together they built a wonderful life. He always said the greatest day in his life was when he became a father. Eddie worked hard his entire life in HVAC controls to make sure Tracie and his girls had everything they needed. He was the epitome of a family man, whom only left good memories for his family and made sure they knew exactly how much he loved them. His love for his family grew when his oldest daughter Erica, married Michael and and Eddie took on the role of father-in-law and later Pop Pop, he had a special love and respect for Michael. Eddie had a sweet spirit and a kind giving heart, that lead him to do anything for anyone in need. He was a quiet man with few words, but when he spoke, everyone stopped to listen because they knew it was important. In his free time, he loved being outside, he was a simple Godly man who liked simple things, especially hunting and fishing. His greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family especially his wife, girls and watching his grandkids play ball. He was the best Husband, Father, Pop Pop, Brother, Father-in-law and Friend anyone could ask for.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister; Cindy McGreggor (Badger).
Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy is his loving family. His wife of 39 years; Tracie Hollis Mcgreggor. Daughters; Erica McGreggor Flynn (Michael) and Jessica McGreggor Marberry. Grandchildren; Luke Flynn, Olivia Flynn, Xander Marberry, Kinsey Marberry, and Charlie Marberry. Siblings; Harry McGreggor (Brenda). Lillian Slappey (Winston), and Donna Kelly (Bobby). Brother in laws; Ronnie Hollis, Jr. (D'Ree) and Scott Hollis (Lanette), father in law; Ronnie Hollis, Sr. along with many nieces and nephews.
