Earlene Jones Bray

Manita Earlene Jones Bray, 83, of Macon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. at Thomaston Road Church of Christ, 5859 Thomaston Rd, Macon, with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Tom Behel and Minister Allan Hornbuckle will officiate. Immediately following the service, Mrs. Bray will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bray was born on August 11, 1939, in Macon to the late James and Eugenia Jones. She was a wonderful wife to her late husband Edwin Murray Bray and a loving mother to seven children. Mrs. Bray was a homemaker and devoted her entire life to her family and their needs. She loved them immensely, and was the definition of a Proverbs 31 woman. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains. She also liked to sew and crochet. In her younger years, she enjoyed making her children's clothes. Mrs. Bray was a loyal and faithful member of Thomaston Road Church of Christ.

Mrs. Bray was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Edwin Murray Bray.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Rick Bray, Kerry Bray (Cindy), Alan Bray (Susan), Janie Guyton (Ken), Cathy Gardner (Bobby), Sherrie Stephens (Brad) and Melissa Stavely (Chason). She also had thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as her sister, Jean Adams.
