Dorothy Louise Stuart, 70, of Macon, Georgia passed away peacefully Tuesday April 15, 2025. A Memorial service to honor her life will be 2:00 pm Saturday April 19, 2025, at FairHaven Funeral Home 4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd. Macon, Georgia. Pastor Rayford Johnson will officiate.
Ms. Dorothy was born February 4, 1955, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Albert Andrew Ryles and Mrs. Helen McCallum Ryles. She was a true original, spirited, loving soul whose presence lit up every porch she sat on and every heart she touched. She had a deep love for family, always cherishing visits and the laughter that came with them. The soft melody of wind chimes and the beauty of blooming flowers brought her peace, especially when enjoyed from her favorite place outdoors, where she could watch the world go by. Stubborn in the best way, she stood her ground with a twinkle in her eye and a heart full of warmth. She was what you might call a "handful," but only because she lived fully, loved fiercely, and made sure no one around her ever forgot how special they were. Her memory will forever echo like the chimes she loved—gentle, joyful, and unforgettable.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years Wayne Stuart; brother, Frankie Ryles; sister, JoAnne Ryles.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Dwayne (Amy) Stuart; daughter, Belinda Stuart; sister, Melba Roth; brothers, John L Ryles, Joey (Pauline) Ryles, Bubba Ryles; grandchildren, Cortney, Heather, Robert, Damon, Nate, Justin, Taylor; great grandchildren, Cyleigh, Zoey, Bryce; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
