Dorothy Massey

Dorothy Louise Massey, 86, of Macon, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church with Reverend Ralph Hawkins officiating.
Ms. Massey was born on May 27, 1934 to the late Arthur and Sadie Massey. She worked the majority of her life as a registered nurse, and had a true servant's heart. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and when she was able, she volunteered at local schools, reading to children. Ms. Massey also enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church but most recently attended Northminster Presbyterian Church.
Ms. Massey was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister; Patricia Kirkland.
Survivors include her brother; J.C. Massey (Evelyn), cousin; Carolyn Maloy and special friend Jackie Simpson. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
