Dorothy Bell

Dorothy Mae Coleman Bell, "Granny", 90, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Baptist Gospel Mission Church, Baptist Gospel Mission Church Road, Macon, Georgia 31217 at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Bell was a longtime resident of Donnan Road in Twiggs County before moving to Eastview Nursing Center 8 years ago. She loved her church, Baptist Gospel Mission where she was a member for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hattie Jane Coleman & Wade Coleman, all of her siblings, and her son, Darrell Thompson. She is survived by her daughters Shirley Thompson and Connie Kitchens, both of Twiggs County, as well as 10 grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
