Donna White

Donna Marie Stokes White, 68, of Macon, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 10 am in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home,4989 Mt. Pleasant Church Rd., Macon, with graveside services following at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will meet friends 30 minutes prior to the service or at the graveside. Pastor Ed Chambless will officiate.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Glynn F. Stokes and Elizabeth Swindle Stokes. She was the widow of John Ashley White Jr. and was preceded in death by her stepchildren, Cheryl White, John White III and Allison White. . Mrs. White was retired Civil Service from RAFB. She was a member of Mikado Baptist Church where she attended the Jehovah-Jireh Sunday School Class. In her spare time, she enjoyed making and donating beautiful jewelry and handmade wreaths. She deeply loved her family and friends and will be missed dearly.

She was survived by her sister, Karen Wiensch; brother, Michael Stokes(Su Jin); nieces and nephews, Kristine Stokes, Brett Wiensch(Heather), Vickie Tallman(Mark), Brian Wiensch(Tiffany) and Tim Wiensch(Kaitlyn); stepson, Scott White(Karen), grandchildren, Kane White(Callie), Ashley White, Michelle Burch(Jonathon), Aaron Tomberlin(Ryan McKinney), great-grandchildren, Palmer White, Murphy Tomerlin; daughter-in-law, Connie White.

The family would like to thank the staff of Brightmoor Hospice for the care Mrs. White received. The family would like donations in lieu of flowers made to Brightmoor Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, Georgia 31210 or to Mikado Baptist Church, 6751 Houston Road Macon, Georgia 31216.
