Donna Lynn Beard Walden, 63, of Macon, passed away surrounded by her family, on Saturday, January 6, 2024. A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 13, at 1:00 PM at her residence.
Donna was born on June 2, 1960, in Wrens, Georgia, to the late Mr. William Andrew Beard and Mrs. Eva Jean Watkins. She was employed with Family Dollar, where she worked as a district training manager, always giving her all as she was a very hard worker. Donna had a heart of gold that was loyal and dedicated, almost to a fault, and always went above and beyond to make everyone happy. She loved all animals, especially her fur-babies, Lucy, Ling-Ling, and Nate, who never left her side.
Left to cherish Donna's memory is her loving wife of 10 years, Gail Walden; children, Jeanne (Jason) Clance, Wesley Messer, and Dixie Messer; sisters, Billie Jean Hume, Sheila Beard, Maryanne Paramore, Brenda (Chris) Walton, Charlene Crowe, and Theresa (David) Yancey; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
