Donald Aubrey Wilder, 69, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Saturday September 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. A visitation will be held on the evening of Tuesday September 24, 2024; 5PM-7PM at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd Macon, Georgia and all are welcome to attend. The funeral service will be 1PM Wednesday September 25, 2024, at FairHaven Funeral Home; Immediately following services Donnie will be laid to rest at Roberta City Cemetery.
Donnie was born November 9, 1954, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Aubrey Wilder and Mrs. Martha Pike Hamlin. Donnie is described as a talkative jokester that "never met a stranger", he perfected the skill of speaking to others and passed that down to his children. In his younger days he was an adventurer, he enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, water skiing, and traveling to the beach, as he progressed in life, he found peace in traveling to the mountains or a good Bar-B-Que spot. He will be dearly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Steve Wilder.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 14 years Lane Wilder; sons, Hunter Wilder, Travis (Rachel) Trimble; daughters, Jessica Wilder, Lexi Williams; brother, Michael (Kotan) Wilder; sister, Sandra (Gary) Lowe; and 4 grandchildren.
