Donald Ray "John" Jones, 49, of Macon passed away suddenly, Sunday, June 5, 2016. Graveside Services to honor and celebrate his life will be held Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Memorial Gardens, Warner Robins. The Reverends Hershel Sizemore and Tim Sizemore will officiate. The family will greet friends Wednesday, June 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd, Macon.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Clifford Edward Jones and Oma Jean Minchew Wooten, Donald was employed by Peach State Restoration as a Project Manager. He was an extremely active member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and would volunteer there whenever he was needed. Donald enjoyed music of all kinds and he also loved to sing. He was an avid football fan. But above everything Donald was an amazing father, and was at his happiest when he was spending time with his family.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Edward Jones and Oma Jean Minchew Wooten and his grandmother Helen Jones.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Misty Jones, Three Children; John Thomas Edward Jones, Haley Rae Jones, and Hannah Grace Jones. Father; Bobby Wooten, Siblings, Allen Jones (Lourie), Candy Clements (James), Bobby Wooten, Michael Wooten (Candace), Ronnie Rousseau (Debbie), Bobbi McMillan ( Jimmy), Buffy Rousseau and his wife's brother, David Ogden (Jessica) as well as several Nieces and Nephews.
