Donald Lee Hitch, Jr., 78, of Warner Robins, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. A service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Hitch was born in Norfolk, Virginia on April 23, 1945 to the late Donald Lee Hitch, Sr., and Sarah Louise White. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army Air National Guard, where he obtained the rank of Sergeant before retiring. In his free time, he enjoyed technology whether it be playing on his computer or working on any kind of electronics. He was a simple man that enjoyed the little things. Above all, the time he spent with his family and grandkids was what he cherished most. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Leslie Roberta Valerie Hitch; brother, Tobin Bryan Hitch, Sr.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Katherine (Tyler) Griffin, Anne Louise Hitch and Donald (Christina) Hitch, III.; sister, Camille Smith; brother, Kevin Hitch and grandchildren, Logan, Delaney, Connor, Danielle, Kariena, Allison and Madelyn; sister in law, Rhonda Hitch; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
