Dolores Scott

Dolores Brock Scott, 76, left this earthly world on November 1, 2018. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. She left behind her role as an angel on earth to become a heavenly angel. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandma and GiGi. People were her joy in life and if you had the honor of getting to know her, you were loved whole heartedly, and became an honorary family member. This world lost a beautiful soul, but all our lives are so much richer for having had her in it.
She is preceded in death by a wonderful father and mother, Bristow and Ruth Vandegriff, and a special aunt, Stella Vandegriff. She was also preceded in death by a late husband, Robert Lee Brock and her son Dwayne Brock. She leaves behind a devoted and loving husband, Kenny Scott. They were married 31 years and they took care of each other and loved one another in sickness and health. She leaves behind 5 children; Mary (Jimmy) of Bolingbroke, GA, David (Tammy) of McDonough, GA; Kim (Karl) of Kansas City, MO; Jeff (Ginger) of Lawrenceville, GA; and Michael (Shannon) of Conyers, GA. She also adored her eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Faye, her doctors and her healthcare team. She loved you all.
