Decia Simms

Decia LaVerne Cook Simms, 77, of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019. Funeral services will be private. The family will have a memorial visitation on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon.
Born in Tifton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Zachary "Jack"Cook and Eunice LaVerne Turner Cook. She was a retired computer programmer with Robins Air Force Base, and a member of the Lois Raker Homemakers Club.
Mrs. Simms enjoyed studying genealogy and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Howard G. Simms, Son, Howard Z. Simms (Dee) Grandchildren, Grace Simms, Zack Simms; Sister, Mary Frances Causey and her niece, Judy Causey Grimes (Gary).
