Debra Alford Sheppard, 56, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, September 29, 2017. A Funeral service will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation, Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Myrtice Lowe Barefoot. She was retired from Bellsouth/ AT&T working in sales, and spent her later years caring for others and those she loved.
She is survived by her son, Matthew Sheppard (Dawn), Granddaughter, Emma Grace, Sister, Diane Alford, Father and Step Mother, Jerry and Mary Alford, Aunt, Jean Burns, Niece, Becca Howard, and Nephew, Joshua Howard, her faithful companions, Bruno, Sadie, Maverick, Goosie, and her grandpup, Shelby.
