Deborah Elaine Gunnels Adams, 61, of Lizella, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020. A memorial service for the public will be held on a later date.
Deborah was born on August 13, 1958, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Harvey Gunnels, Sr. and Dorothy Hobbs Gunnels. She served her Lord and Savior through her membership at Gods Church of Worship and Praise. Deborah devoted her time, daily, to read Gods word. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. Being their mama and granny was her greatest joy. In her free time, Deborah would often travel to the beach.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Ashley Lawson (Ryan, Sr.); sons, Dwayne Gunnels (Brandi Bell) and Shane Gunnels (Kelly); grandchildren, Emily, Autumn, Hunter, Allison, Destiny, Cole, Hannah, Josh, Keeley, R.J., and Tayler; sister, Connie Gunnels and Pamela Gunnels; brothers, Richard Gunnels and Harvey Gunnels, Jr. (Penny); former spouse, David Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
