Debbie Waltman Batson, 59, of Byron, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 10, 2019. The family will greet friends on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1:30 -3:00 at Lighthouse Baptist Church. A celebration of her life will begin at 3:00 in the church. Reverend Tim Sizemore will officiate.
Debbie was born on January 20, 1960 in Mobile, Alabama. She worked the majority of her life as a hairdresser, mostly working for the Cutting Company where she formed lifelong friendships and greeted everyone with a smile. Debbie's greatest joy in life was her family, she was by far her happiest when she was spending time with them. She could make anyone smile and never saw bad in anyone. She was an avid Allman Brothers fan and loved the Georgia Bulldawgs.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her husband of 27 years Russell Batson. Her son; Caleb Trent Batson, and bonus daughter; Lindsey Russo (Nick). Bonus Grandson; Wade Russo. Siblings; Claris Morgan and Doug Waltman (Cindy). Father in law; Lin Batson (Sandy) and Brother in law; Keith Batson (Judy). As well as several nieces and nephews who sure loved their aunt Debbie.
