David Shane Russell, 47, of Macon ,Georgia passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon. Burial will follow in the Scott-Davis Family Cemetery. The Reverend Kenny Parham will officiate
Born in Milledgeville, David was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish and when he wasn't watching Georgia Football he could surely be found in his deer stand. He also had a love for wrestling, mud bogging and could cook some mean BBQ.
David is preceded in death by his daughter, Ciera Nicole Russell. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Shirley Russell of Macon, Ga., Step son; Austin Blake Waggoner of Texas; his mother, Carolyn Ann Wright (Ron) of Macon; father, Jimmy Russell of Colorado; Brother, James Stephen Russell (Carla) of Macon; Michael Russell(Missy) of Macon. But David will be missed by all who knew him.
