David "Dave" Allen Clements, Sr, 75, passed at 1:00am, December 26, 2021, in Macon, GA. Dave was born in Providence, RI to Donald Eugene Clements and Marie Jeanette (Leclerc) Clements.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandra Lee Clements, together they were a wonderful team, Sandy lovingly referred to Dave as her captain. Survivors also include their children David Allen and Rebecca Black Clements, Toby Brian Clements, and Thomas Brent and DeeDee Clements Story, brothers Donald Eugene Clements and Thomas Hayes Clements, grandchildren Sidney Leclerc Clements, Xander Wade Clements, Jack Woodruff Story, Lillian Marie Story, Sophie Reese Clements, and Vera Mackenzie Clements, and many nieces, nephews.
Dave was in the automotive business for over 50 years, Dave's greatest joy in life came from his family, he was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all. Being a Vietnam war veteran, Dave was a stout supporter of the US military. Dave and Sandy lived in Athens, GA for 13 years where they raised David, Toby and DeeDee for much of their childhood. Dave was a huge fan of Georgia football and would always find the positives even after the worst games.
Per his wishes, there will be no service. He wanted us to all "remember the good times" and his final resting place will likely be in the Pacific Ocean off of the coast of the Island of Oahu.
