David Chambers

March 31, 1961 — March 14, 2024

David Floyd Chambers, Jr. the beloved son of Angelia Faye and David Floyd Chambers, Sr. slipped away into eternal rest on March 14, 2024, in the presence of his immediate family. A graveside service to honor his life will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Rockwell Baptist Church with Reverend Benny Moore officiating.

David received a degree in Political Science from Mercer University, after graduating he worked for Mercer University where he retired. He loved history and animals. He was one of the longest survivors' post kidney transplant surgery.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Angelia Faye Chambers; brother, James Kenneth Chambers; sister, Rachel Lynne Chambers; his pets, Brandi, Garfield (whom he walked on a leash) Mary, Lisa, Rebecca, Elvis, Mama Cat with her family which included Irma, Jessie, Jake, Lynne and Valerie.
