Darlon Maples

On the 10th day of November Lionel Darlon Maples was called home to be with his heavenly father. He was employed by Gemini/Loves Travel Stop for many years as a lead driver fuel transporter. His passing was preceded by a brief illness. He came to his sisters house (Carolyn Maples) for one final last visit, hug, & kiss before having an unexpected massive heart attack. She gave her last breaths and every effort to revive him as well as the paramedics to no avail. Lionel had a heart of gold and was the most precious of man anyone could've ever known. He loved his family and his dogs. He was an avid Harley Davidson's rider man n loved his biker brothers and his co workers and colleagues. He was preceded in death by many family members and friends and most importantly his buddy and nephew, Andy Nicholson, whom he treasured and shared many happy memories and great times and they both grew and learned life together. He leaves behind his sister Carolyn Maples, brother, Dolan Maples and sister Dawana Nunnally (David). Many nieces and nephews as well as his girlfriend, Lisa Edwards and a dear friend of many years, Eddie Powell. With shattered hearts and many tears we must say "see on the otherside" and will love you and miss you forever and a day our precious one!
