Danny Carpenter

Danny Lee Carpenter, 71, of Macon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road Macon. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation from 10 a.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Lancaster, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles and Betty Carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Carpenter was the owner and operator of D&M Trucking Company.
He is survived by his companion, Camilla McCook, Children, Terry Carpenter(Barbara), Mike Mullis(Tracy), Angela Elliott(Kent), Melanie Klingsporn(Keith), and Perry McCook(Wendy). Grandchildren, Kyle Carpenter, Brandon, Riley, and Raina Mullis, Christopher Clevenger, Morgan and Madison Elliott, Benjamin and Olivia Klingsporn, Hannah and Alexis McCook, Sisters, Sandy Belt(Don), and Donna Russell(David). Several Aunts and Uncles.
