Dana Lorraine Sisk, 54, passed away on October 1, 2023. She passed away surrounded by the love of friends and family. A funeral service to honor her life will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family invites friends to join them for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Pastor Jeramie Frasure will officiate.
Dana was born on March 22, 1969, in Macon, Georgia to Rita Spradlin and her late husband, Edward Spradlin. During her life, Dana would often recall her teenage years spent out running the town with friends and blaring music. Later in life, Dana would meet her husband, Billy Sisk, through her stepfather, Keith Surles. They began dating and soon fell in love. They then got married on November 7, 1995. After a while, they decided they wanted kids however they could not conceive, so they adopted a brother and a sister, Matthew and Amaya Sisk. The rest is history. Dana loved her family with all her heart.
During her older years, Dana could often be seen playing her word games or on the phone with her family. She could make the most amazing chicken noodle soup you ever tasted. She never missed a day of her soaps. She was an avid shopper and the best decorator. She always made sure to look her best.
Dana was the most beautiful, radiant soul and her loving personality will be dearly missed. If you ever met her, you loved her.
Dana is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Billy Sisk; children, Matthew, Amaya and Robert Sisk; mother, Rita Spradlin; and stepfather, Keith Surles.
Dana is preceded in death by her father, Edward Spradlin; sister, Deborah Jenks; uncle, Donald "Skeeter" Spradlin; grandmother, Elizabeth Spradlin.
