It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dana Reynolds Pruitt. She passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, in Marietta, GA. A native of Dublin, Georgia, she was born on January 4, 1958, to the late Josephine and Louie Reynolds.
Dana was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and friend who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Some of the qualities that best defined her were her kindness, beauty, thoughtfulness, and humor.
After earning her degree in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia, Dana went on to have a successful career in merchandising and print production. Along with her knowledge in the field, she made a memorable impact on the colleagues she worked with. Many former coworkers have described her as sweet, talented, and influential.
When she was not working, Dana enjoyed walking the quiet streets of her neighborhood, shopping for the best deals, watching Georgia Bulldogs football games, and sharing meals with her family. She was also known for her deep love for her daughter, Erin, and the family dog, Louie.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Pruitt; her daughter, Erin Pruitt; her son-in-law, Max Hurd; and her siblings: Donna and Kenny Webb, Debbie (Postle) Reynolds, Mark and Vicki Reynolds, and Scott and Susan Reynolds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Hallie Reynolds.
Though our time with her was far too short, we will hold her love close to our hearts. Her sarcastic sense of humor, tender nature, and unconditional love are the qualities we will miss most. Not a day will go by without missing her, but it is the sweet and special memories that will carry us through.
