Dana Hopkins

Dana Hopkins, 73, of Byron, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023. The family will have a memorial service on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home with a private burial at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens to follow,

Ms. Hopkins was born on June 14, 1949, in Vienna, Georgia, to the late Mr. Gleaton Cross and Mrs. Minnie Ingram Cross. Ms. Hopkins was a homemaker, providing a loving, wonderful home for her husband and children. After her retirement from Robins Air Force Base Ms. Hopkins took up doing hair at a local beauty salon.

Ms. Hopkins spent her free time gardening and spending time with her grandkids.

Ms. Hopkins was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reverend Roy Jackson Hopkins, and Brother, Steve Cross.

Left to cherish Ms. Hopkins memory is her children, John Hatfield (Tracy) and Robert Hatfield (Brenda); Sisters, Rangie Watson, and Norma; 6 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
