Dan Thomas Clance, Sr.

Dan Thomas Clance, Sr., 67, of Knoxville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. The family invites friends to their house, 3507 Old Knoxville Road Knoxville, Georgia 31057; on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at their residence. His brother, Charles Clance will officiate the service.
Mr. Clance was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. John Henry Clance, Sr., and Mrs. Nellie Louise Scarbary Clance. Dan enjoyed all things outdoors. In his free time, he enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Grilling a nice meal for his family and spending time at the hunting club. He was of the Baptist faith. Above all, he enjoyed every minute he spent with his loving wife, Julia, and their family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Clance is preceded in death by his brother, John Henry Clance, Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 22 years, Julia Wynell Clance; children, Scott Clance, Dan Clance, Jr., (Christina), Sylvia Kelly, Kristy Peach (Daniel), Kimberly Cross; brothers, Charles Clance (Denise), Hoyt Clance (Laura); and a host of loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
