Dag Alfred Matthews, 57, of Macon, Georgia passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2024. The family will have a service to honor his life on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Dag was born in Brunswick, Georgia on September 14, 1966, to the late James Perry Matthews and Ms. Rowena Christine Shadburn. He attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Dag was a man of many talents; at a young age he took up Upholstery with his father and ended his career as a very talented Stone Mason. He took pride in his work and was never afraid of taking on a new task. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Nascar, and racing on the television. Above all, his family meant the most to him. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his siblings,
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Rowena Shadburn, and many nieces, and nephews.
