Cyrus Bartholomew

Cyrus Edgar Bartholomew, 76, of Macon, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021. A private celebration of Mr. Bartholomew's life will be held on July 10, 2021.

Mr. Bartholomew was born on December 1, 1944, in Blairsville, Georgia, to the late Charles Bartholomew and Frances Wilder. He was self-employed most of his life, working as an auto mechanic. After he retired, he became a CNA and taking care of people became his passion.

Mr. Bartholomew was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 25 years, Jeannie Stanley Bartholomew; granddaughter, Erika Bartholomew; and grandson, Jacob Nettles.

Mr. Bartholomew is survived by his daughter, Jody Bartholomew Lucas; sons, Ron Bartholomew (Sharmon) and Thomas Bartholomew (Sondra); step-daughters, Kim Perego (Jason) and Kathy Smith (Robby); grandchildren, Joshua Nettles, Brooke Bartholomew, Ryan Bartholomew, Hunter Bartholomew, Payton Bartholomew, Cory Bartholomew, Blayne Lucas, Samantha Vance, Savannah Stevenson, Brittany Mashburn, Kayli Mashburn, and Braelynn Wilbanks; 17 great grand children; sister, Charla Griffith (Jerry); and one neice, Theresa Harshey.
