Connie Parker

Connie Diane Jones Parker, 80 of Byron, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Parkway Assembly of God. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Joe Williams will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Griffin, Georgia, She was the daughter of the late John Rogers Jones and Myrtice Harris Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, James " Jim" Franklin Parker.
Mrs. Parker was a member of Parkway Assembly of God, where she served in the seniors ministry, and was a retired substitute teacher with the Bibb County School System.
She is survived by her children, Larry Wilson Barnes Jr.(Mary Beth), Diane Sama(Michael), Grandchildren, Tiffany Thomas(Loyd), Kristen Tarpley(Ryan), Katelin Staff(Josh), Robert Capps (April) and Travis Jordan Capps(Dena) and Eight great grandchildren.
