Connie Massey

December 29, 1934 — August 17, 2024

Connie D. Massey went home to be with her savior, the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 17, 2024. A funeral service to honor her life will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Macon E. Church; 5399 Hartley Bridge Road Macon Georgia, 31216. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Ottis Andrews will officiate the service.

She was born on December 29, 1934, to the late Mr. William Oscar Dye and Georgia Carroll Dye. She truly loved her family and many friends. She was a devoted servant of Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn M. Rose (09/16/1961), her husband, Walter C. Massey, Sr., (12/17/2005), her son, Walter C. Massey, Jr., (06/06/2024), and her daughter in law, Janet Lynne Rose (05/20/2023).

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy McCarthy (Gary), Steve Rose, David Rose (Barbara), and Michael Rose (Stephanie); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

May the God of all mercy and peace now give her eternal rest and peace in his presence. Amen.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that donations be made to Macon E. Church or St. Jude's Research Hospital in Mrs. Connies honor.
