Clotilde was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on Wednesday June 3, 1953 to the late Gregorio Araujo and Emperatriz Deleon Araujo. She loved everything about nature including gardening, raising chickens, and being around animals. She also enjoyed music, dancing, and helping people.
Clotilde is survived by her loving husband, Rafael Aurelio Espaillat; children, Maria Rodriguez (Angel), Efrain Tineo (Minelka), Linda Dejesus, Emperatriz Tineo, Ricardo Araujo (Yaniris), Figueroa-Araujo; grandchildren, Alex, Carlos, Jamiles, Dariannys, Adonis, Adrian, Adrianys, Adileinys, Dylan, Yareinys, Thiago, Heithen Aldevaran; great-grandchildren, Jack, Bronx, Ryley; and all her Araujo brothers, sister, nieces, and nephews.
