Claudia Brewer Clements, 89, of Macon, GA, passed away peacefully Monday, September 23, 2024. A funeral service will be held 12:oo PM Saturday, September 28, 2024 at FairHaven Funeral Home 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. The family will welcome guests 1 hour prior to service time. Immediately following services; Mrs. Clements will be laid to rest at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Clements was born December 7, 1934, in Lumber City, Georgia, to the late Mr. Claude Brewer and Mrs. Bessie Powell Brewer. Mrs. Clements is described as a "devoted dog mom" to her best friend and companion Toby, always ensuring he had the best life possible. She was also devoted to her family; her most treasured time was simply hanging out with family and friends by her pool. She was so dedicated to her family she had the pool custom made to include a shallow area for children; the grandchildren will remember many fun days swimming and hosting parties for all their sports teams. Later in life Ms. Clements retired from Kroger in 2005 after 40 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed making trips to the casino trying her luck at the many slot machines or staying up to all hours of the night reading. Her family was the true light of her life, and she will be dearly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 21 years William "Billy" Clements; son, William "Stevie" Clements; daughter, Sandra Dale Clements; brothers, Henry Lee Brewer, Keb Brewer; sisters, Myrtle Mathews, Myrtice Coley, Bertha Mae Cameron; grandchild, Mandi Clements; and great grandchild, Richard Cole Clements.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Terry Clements; daughter, Gail Clements; daughter in law, Sylvia Clements; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and thank you to a devoted and caring neighbor David Johnston.
