Claude Robert "Bobby" Wesley, Jr. 64, of Macon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home at 4 p.m. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Reverend Randy Wilkes will officiate.
Born in Ft. Hood, Texas, he was the son of the late Claude Robert Wesley Sr. and Evelyn Murray Wesley. He was a U.S. Army veteran, where he served as squad leader, member of the All Army Pistol Team.
He was awarded several commendations, Army Service Ribbon, Sharpshooter Qualification Badge, Expert Qualification Badge (Hand Grenade), and Good Conduct Medal.
Bobby worked at the Komix Castle, where he sold baseball cards and comics with Roland Castle, owner. He hosted numerous comic conventions and later had various management jobs. For the last several years he has been a vendor at Smiley's Flea Market. He also worked for the Macon Telegraph as a circulation manager and OM Lottery Express in Lizella and at Lake Tobosofkee Chevron as manager as well.
He received two associate degrees from Macon Tech in Electronics and Radio, TV Repair.
He is survived by his sister, Lyn Wesley (Kym Barnett) and Mister Kitty.
He is also survived by his aunts, Laura Morgan (George), Louise Boucher, Uncle, Frank Murray (Kay) and numerous Cousins.
Bobby was a very loyal friend to everyone he knew. He was so giving and compassionate and was always helping others, He had a very giving heart, and always looked out for his family. We love him and he will be greatly missed.
