Cindy Nell Stults Brown, 71, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on November 30th and is now present with the Lord. Cindy was born a quiet, old soul. Guided by her Christian faith, she moved through life with a gentle strength, a curious spirit, and a lifelong love of learning.
Cindy possessed a beautiful singing voice and played the piano with a natural grace. She never met a baby she didn’t love, and her steady presence brought comfort to those around her. She will be most remembered for her playfulness and her remarkable memory—traits that made her truly one of a kind. With her appreciation for antiques, classic movies, and timeless music, Cindy seemed to belong to another era, carrying the charm and simplicity of days gone by.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Tim Brown; their four children, Todd Brown (wife Da-Rae’) and their children Xander, Kadence, and Tate, Kevin Brown (wife Melina) and their son Everett, with another child on the way, Elizabeth McCollum and her children Natalie and Thomas, and Amy Cooper. She is also survived by her siblings, her brother Carl Stults, sisters Cheryl Sjoquist, Lynn Reaves, Lisa Plunkett, and Barbie Magruder, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cindy’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her gentle spirit, sharp mind, and quiet love.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dorothy Jean Stults.
