Cheryl Lynn Harris, 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Friday, December 5, 2014 in Macon, Georgia. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon. The family will greet friends immediately after the service.
Cheryl was born November 14, 1959 in Denison, Iowa to the late Edward and Frances Jean Abbott. She graduated from Northeast High School and worked in Macon for Kwickie Food Stores, CGL Engineering and Walthall Oil Company.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Jean Abbott and a loving step mother, Nancy Abbott.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband Larry Harris, daughter Kim Alderman, step daughters Rebecca and Casey Harris, brothers Mark Abbott (Kathy) of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Michael Abbott (Lori) of St. Petersburg, Florida. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice Care Options, 486 New St, Macon, Georgia 31201 or Three Rivers Home Health Care, 1760 Bass Road, Suite 103, Macon, Georgia 31210
