Cheryl Busbee

March 15, 1951 — January 9, 2017

Cheryl Kay McGraw Busbee, 65, of Macon, passed away peacefully Monday, January 09, 2017. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon. The family will have a time of visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Also, family and friends may gather immediately following the service at Cheryl's residence.
Born March 15, 1951 in Kokomo, Indiana, to the late Russell Wayne McGraw and Gladys Joanne Bean, Cheryl was a resident of Macon since 1954 and was a 1969 graduate of McEvoy High School. She was an avid football and baseball fan and loved to watch the Braves and Bulldawgs when they would play. In 2006 Cheryl retired from Georgia Farm Bureau where she worked as the Personal Lines Underwriting Manager.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband, Danny M. Busbee. Brother; Gerald Wayne McGraw and a Brother-in-law, Eddie Slucher.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, Son; Danny Shane Busbee and Bryan Scott Busbee (Heather Wood). As well as her sister; Theresa Bean Slucher. But she will be missed by all who knew her.
