Charles Dougherty

Charles E. Dougherty Sr. 68, of Lizella, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Foster Hunnicutt will officiate.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Mr. Dougherty graduated from Dudley Hughes. He attended 2 years of bible training at Lighthouse in Macon, Ga. He was a self-employed contractor, a trained corrections officer and held other management positions.
He loved fishing, traveling, and the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with his family and friends. He was a longtime member of Lighthouse of Deliverance Church.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Dougherty. They have seven children together, His: Laura Aldridge (Joe), Donna Woolcott (Walter) Chuck Dougherty Jr.(Endora), Margaret Tanner(Jason) Barbara's: Joel Herring(Cassie), Donna Wilder(Norwood), Glenn Herring (Tonya). Brothers, Billy Brock (Etta), Van Brock(Pat). Sisters, Nina Bloodworth, Betty Padget. Precious Pets, Bossy and Buster. Grandchildren, Alan, Ashley, Rebecca, Walter, William, Edward, Margaret, Susie, Kelly, Colby, Alissa, Abby, Jarret, Matthew, Woody, Patricia, Nichole, Kirsten, Macie, Brian, Niyah. Great Grandchildren, Zaylynn, Vince, Adian, Brooklynn, Landon, Bryan, Megan, Noah, Natalie, Matthew, Ivan, Gracelynn, and Cyrus.
