Charles Rodney Craddock, 70, of Macon, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 20, 2021. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday November 24, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home with Reverend Benjamin Newberry and Danny Craddock officiating. Immediately following the service, Rodney will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Rodney was born on August 14, 1951, in Rome, Georgia to the late Harold M. and Mary E. Craddock. He spent most of his life in Warner Robins and Byron and was a graduate of Warner Robins High School. In his free time, he loved the outdoors. He was a selfless, compassionate, caring person, even until the very end, giving the ultimate gift of life to over 20 people as an organ donor. Rodney loved his family more than anything, they were the light of his life and his greatest joy.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother; Sammy Craddock and sister; Margaret Joan Craddock.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His wife of 49 years; Diane Craddock. Daughter; Missy Hunnicutt (Chad) of Macon. Grandchildren; Taylor Hunnicutt, of North Carolina, Tyler Hunnicutt (Hunter) and great granddaughter; Jersey Marie Hunnicutt all of Macon. Brothers; Mark Craddock of Warner Robins and Danny Craddock of Panama City, Florida. Sister; Sonya Rogers (Perry) of Macon. Sister-in-law; Sheila Craddock of Byron. Brother-in-law; Mike Howard (Lynn) of Byron. His beloved dog; Dudley as well as many nieces and nephews.
