Chandar Dakota Crosby

Chandar Dakota Crosby, 52, of Macon, entered the gates of Heaven and was welcomed by his precious baby girl, Jordan, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 13, at 12:00 PM at First Chirstian Church of the Centerville with Mr. K.C. Harris officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Mr. Crosby was born on July 22, 1973, in Hampton, South Carolina. A proud graduate of Southeast High School, he went on to build a remarkable 30-year career with Frito-Lay, where he was widely respected as a dedicated and dependable leader. Known for his kindness and steady support, Mr. Crosby was always willing to lend a hand or offer guidance to his coworkers, earning their admiration and friendship. Outside of work, Mr. Crosby found joy and peace outdoors. Whether he was hunting or fishing, nature was his sanctuary. Mr. Crosby's warmth, generosity, and loyalty made him not only a loving family man but also a trusted and treasured friend to many. Above all that, there was nothing more important to Mr. Crosby than his family. He met the love of his life, Becky in 1991. They would go on to marry in November of 1995, taking their vows seriously, from richer or poorer, from sickness and in health, til death do us part, for 30 plus years, until he left his earthly home. Mr. Crosby will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Jordan Lynn Crosby; father, Willie Oliver Crosby, Jr.; and nephew, Braydon Crosby.
Left to cherish Mr. Crosby's memory are his loving wife of 30 plus years, Rebekah "Becky" Bray Crosby; children, Savannah and Landon Deveraux; mother, Betty Jo Crosby; parents-in-law, Gary and Wanda Bray; brothers, Shan Crosby (Denise), Shiloh Crosby (Melissa), Nevada Crosby (Shealeigh), and Diego Crosby (Carrie); sisters-in-law, Valarie Swift (Jimmy), and Crystal Ward; and numerous nieces and nephews.
