Cecil Eugene "Mark" Whitehead, Jr. 45, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 after an acute respiratory distress. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Hardy Scarborough officiating. The family will greet friends at the parents residence on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Living Waters Fellowship Church, 6120 Thomaston Road, Macon, Ga. 31220.
Born in Macon, he was the son of Cecil Eugene Whitehead Sr. and Polly Hester Whitehead. He was president and owner of Whitehead Heating and Air. Mark was a member of the Baptist faith. Mark was a person who cared for friends and family. Loving and sincere and always made everyone laugh.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Abby Grace Whitehead of Macon, devoted parents, Gene and Polly Whitehead of Macon, Brother, Samuel Paul Whitehead of Los Angeles, CA. former wife and mother of their daughter, Terri Coleman Whitehead of Macon, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
